Harrie Samaras Becomes Chair, ABA Section of Dispute Resolution, Reappointed To IPL Section Content Advisory Board

West Chester, Pa. – Harrie Samaras has been elected as the Chair of the Dispute Resolution Section of the American Bar Association, and she has been reappointed to the Content Advisory Board (CAB) of the Intellectual Property Law Section of the ABA.

As the Chair, Harrie will work with the Director of the Section to plan and supervise the activities of the Section subject to the directions and approval of Council. Harrie has appointed the chairs of all committees of the Section and certain officers (non-elected) who will hold office during the Association year. She will preside over bi-weekly meetings of the Executive Committee, regularly scheduled meetings of the Council, and any special meetings of either body to carry out the business of the Section.

Harrie is also honored to serve once again as a member of CAB for the Intellectual Property Law Sections of the ABA. In this role, Harrie will join the other Board members in developing and driving the strategy for member-produced content across the Section’s multiple print and electronic media outlets and in making publishing recommendations.
